Rural Health Group is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and a premier provider of community-based healthcare in several counties in northeastern North Carolina. We provide high-quality, culturally and linguistically appropriate services to diverse and low-income populations through a myriad of clinical, medical, behavioral health, education, and support services. We provide integrated behavioral health services to underserved patients currently receiving primary care services and have a collaborative relationship between primary care and behavioral health services. Our School Based Health Centers program expands our team-based care model to better serve children and adolescents in this area.

Rural Health Group is seeking two (2) LCSW Behavioral Health Specialists for full-time, year-round position on an integrated care team. In this position, practitioners provide school support services, professional development services, teacher consultation, and brief, solution-focused social-emotional interventions to students who are identified as needing services. Specialist will likely travel between multiple schools and provide services in our outpatient primary care clinics as well. One will be based at our RHG @ GCP location in Gaston NC (just north of Roanoke Rapids) and the other one will be based at our RHG @ HCC location in Weldon NC (just east of Roanoke Rapids).
[For a map of our locations, please refer to "Directions to your provider" on our website, rhgnc.org.]  The HCC location is a hybrid location that is part of our School Based program but also serves as a regular outpatient family practice for all ages.

Behavioral Health Specialists will be part of a clinical team that includes medical providers, nutritionists, social workers, psychologists, case managers, and other professionals.
