Rural Health Group, a thriving community health center with multiple locations throughout northeastern North Carolina, has a full time position available for this type of professional.  We need an experienced receptionist to provide professional clerical and administrative support. This position will serve as the receptionist/operator for our corporate headquarters located in Roanoke Rapids, but it is not an entry-level position. 

 
Responsibilities may include (but not limited to):
  • Serve as receptionist for corporate headquarters, answering phones and receiving visitors
  • Provide excellent internal and external customer service while performing all duties
  • Calendaring
  • Analyze reports and data
  • Copy/fax/scan/email
  • Act as liaison to HR department, assisting with tasks such as pre-employment processes, filing, travel arrangements, etc.
  • Document management - maintain paper and electronic records in compliance with federal, state, grant, and company requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • Experience in providing administrative support.
  • Able to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality at all times.
  • Able to maintain excellent internal and external customer service at all times.
  • Appropriate Bachelor's Degree and/or applicable experience.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office programs - especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Publisher and Access experience a plus.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive, effective, professional relationships with patients, providers, co-workers, superiors, community partners, etc.; excellent teamwork skills.
  • Able to work independently, take initiative, handle high volume and multiple tasks, work efficiently in a potentially stressful environment.
  • Reliable attendance.
  • Possess knowledge of modern office equipment, systems and procedures.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding when carrying out detailed written or oral instructions; ability to use good judgment when carrying out responsibilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, highly organized, detail oriented.
