The Clinical Quality Analyst is responsible analyzing data reports and implementation of quality improvement interventions, conducts internal monitoring and assists in resolving/preventing gaps in care. Interfaces with a diverse range of clinical and administrative professionals, resolves complex issues, and performs data analytic, monitoring and reporting activities.

Serves as knowledge expert for continuous quality improvement activities

Demonstrates commitment to quality improvements

Works closely with panel managers and clinical staff to identify focused areas for improvement and implement strategies necessary to increase compliance of identified measures

Continuously monitors quality improvement reports, performs adequate data/barrier analysis, identifies opportunities for improvement and develops performance improvement targets and recommendations across the organization

Presents findings/recommendations to the CEO, COO, Director of Clinic Services, Director of Quality Improvement, practice and panel managers as appropriate

Must be able to use nursing experience and education to manage staff and data collection, analysis and measurement skills to set key performance indicators and measure progress

Leads and facilitates performance improvement teams in the development of activities to address identified barriers in arriving at desired outcome

Assists in activities to prioritize clinical quality improvement initiatives

Monitors and analyzes outcomes to ensure goals, objectives, outcomes, accreditation and regulatory requirements are met

Conducts internal auditing of compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards

Ensures that documentation produced and/or processes conducted comply with state regulations and/or accrediting body requirements

Participates in the development of strategic and operational plans within the team

Works with the nursing leadership to help define and implement strategies to support continuous quality improvement, maximizing the involvement of the nursing staff

Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS

Registered nurse (RN) or equivalent with at least five years of nursing and/or management experience

Experience in compliance, accreditation, service or quality improvement
-
Knowledge of accreditation, federal and state regulations/requirements
-
Knowledge of continuous quality improvement principles and the ability to understand and use analytical reasoning to interpret and take action on patient care data and nurse performance information.

Licenses/Certifications Required: Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent

Strong Excel and Word skills required. PowerPoint proficiency preferred
-
Must have excellent time management, team-building, and facilitation skills
