Description
Rural Health Group is seeking a full-time General Accountant. This position is located in our Finance Office in Roanoke Rapids, NC.
The Accountant will provide administrative and clerical support by ensuring payments are completed and expenses are controlled by receiving, processing, verifying, invoicing, and reconciling inbound and outbound products. They will make sure procedures are done in an efficient, timely and accurate basis.

- Accounts Payable processing
- Sales Use Tax reporting
- Payroll and Federal/State tax preparation
- General Ledger analysis
- Experience with grants helpful

Requirements
- BS in Accounting from an accredited college
- 3+ years accounting experience
- Computer skills including proficiency in Excel and ability to type
- Attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced and potentially stressful environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish and maintain positive, effective, professional relationships with co-workers, managers and others
