Rural Health Group, Inc. (RHG) is a well-established 501(c)3 non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center with roots going back 40+ years, now with locations in 6 counties across northeastern North Carolina. Led by a patient-majority Board of Directors, our 350+ employees are dedicated to caring for our region's underserved with a range of services, including: medical (family practice, internal medicine, infectious disease, pediatrics, OB/GYN), dental, pharmacy, behavioral health, case management, and community outreach. 


Position Summary
**Location to be determined.  MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO ANY RHG LOCATION.**

RHG is currently searching for a professional, compassionate and knowledgeable individual to fill the position of Clinical Trainer.

We are looking for someone who has a strong desire to teach, can think and react quickly to class responses and questions, has a good sense of humor, and relentlessly maintains a positive attitude.   • As a Clinical Trainer you will teach professional development and train clinical staff in medical offices.
  • The successful Clinical Trainer has strong presentation and people skills, can work independently, and is a model of professionalism.
  • Formulate teaching outline and determine instructional methods such as instructor led group trainings, computer based training,videos, webinars, over the phone training, self-paced, conferences, meetings, workshops, and more.
  • Actively update training content following state compliance/rules/regulations.
  • Conduct training sessions covering specific areas such as on-the-job training, refresher training, ongoing training, and specialized training.
  • Report on progress and effectiveness of training sessions and seek constructive feedback to continue to elevate the level of training within the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with organization to understand how training/education efforts can help positively impact efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall care quality.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years teaching, training, development experience preferred; strong public speaking skills required
  • Clinical experience required - (Active LPN, RN license and/or certified MA required)
  • Strong background in training and developing others
  • Knowledge of medical operations and general nursing skills required; healthcare profession experience is a plus
  • Experience managing cross functional teams required
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Professional, reliable, and must have proven leadership experience and skills Confidence and creative problem-solving skills working in a fast-paced environment is a must
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and complete projects independently in a goal-oriented manner a must
  • Excellent communication, telephone, and organizational skills
  • Must have basic understanding of medical terms and abbreviations
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a potentially stressful environment
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding when carrying out detailed written or oral instructions
  • Ability to use good judgment when carrying out responsibilities
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive, effective, professional relationships with patients, providers, coworkers, and superiors
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints

  • Reliable attendance.
  • Possess knowledge of modern office equipment and Microsoft Office software programs (Word, Excel, Outlook), computer skills (including the ability to type)
  • Experience with electronic health record system(s); must be able to quickly learn to use eClinicalWorks EHR
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required - applicants who may serve in a translating capacity will be required to take a language assessment
